Passion Balconnette Bra

Unique detailing:

This Spoylt bra feels like pure silk and despite being a bold vibrant red, the carefully considered cup detailing and attention to straps creates a bra that is both elegant and striking. The bow on the centre front draws attention to the cleavage without being too overpowering. It is an under-wired bra in crimson satin with ruffles and centre bow. Fabric is 92% polyester, 8% elastane, by Boselli, Italy.

Review:

I think this Spoylt bra is beautiful! I'm not usually a fan of red bras but this is definitely one of my favourites! Great attention to detail makes this bra look chic and stylish despite being a bold colour. I love the gathered detailing on the cups and teamed with the choice of fabric makes it a definite must have! This bra is simple but sexy and the ruched straps add interest to the back. The padded cups create a lovely natural shape and the general fit of this bra is super, it will definitely suit most woman! The underwiring adds very good support and it is sexy and sensous but simple, I love it! To match the Spoylt Passion Bra there is the Hipster Briefs.

Simone Perele Eliza Black Underwired Triangle Bra

Unique Details:

This is a truly exquisite black underwired triangle bra in transparent black tulle highlighted with a classic and delicate soft blue floral embroidery on the bra cup. The deeply plunging neckline is met with a small blue bow at the centre and thin double straps to create a delicate yet elegant bra.

Personal Opinion:

This Simone Pérèle triangle bra is simply beautiful! It has the modernity of a triangle bra with the support of an underwire whilst having double rouleau straps. The simplicity in the embroidery on the sheer black cups is what makes this bra stand out from the rest, and the bound bra cup edge and double straps add elegance and charm.

This definitive Simone Perele bra looks absolutely gorgeous on a lady and is definitely one of my favorite items of lingerie! The triangle shape fits great and will suit most and flatter all sizes, however it is important to bear in mind that this style of darted cups will not offer the same support as a seamed bra cup. Nevertheless, this bra is absolutely perfect for everyday wear, and will look great in the bedroom when teamed with the matching thong from the set that mirrors the elegant embroidery on the bra. A perfect addition to any women's collection whether you intend to wear it night or day!

Comfort: 5/5

Style: 5/5

Fit 5/5

Underwire Bras - The Best Fashionable Bras For Support

When it comes to support, underwire bras are the best by far. Underwire bras enhance, uplift and support your breasts. If you are big breasted it is far more important to have the best support possible to lift up and hold the girls. These little curved wires in the undersides of bra cups really do support and lift you.

For underwires to work properly, you need to have the correct fit. The underwires need to fully encircle your breasts. It needs to be around the tissue, not on top. If you have any poking or pinching, you are wearing the wrong size bra. To ensure the correct fit, get yourself fitted or at least self measure. Again, check that it surrounds the breast. Make sure there is no spillage. See that the center gore in the front lays flat against the chest.

Not all wires are created equal. Most women like plastic coded metal. They also like flexible wires. The plastic wires help strengthen the wires and are less sharp. The flexibility helps to soften the underwire, too.

When trying on a bra, move around a lot. Jump up and down or run in place. You need to make sure that the wires are not poking or pinching. If you jiggle a lot, you are already not choosing a bra with adequate support. Pick a bra with limited movement and comfortable underwires. If you dig in, you will not dig this bra.

Make sure you have a supportive band and comfort straps. The band is crucial to support in addition to the underwires. It is best with 3 to 4 hook and eye closures and flexible without restricting or leaving marks. The straps should be wide to increase comfort level. The support comes from the underwire and band not the straps. The straps are there to help keep the bra in place. They should not dig in. You want to feel your best every time you wear a bra.

Underwires look better on than soft cup bras. They enhance the shape of your breast and your outfit. The cups stay formed and most have a nice molded shape. Plus, underwires come in a greater variety of styles. Bras such as lingerie bras, push up bras, and the bustier are mainly in underwire. You also have a greater color variety of underwire styles out there. Make sure that your underwire style bra matches your outfit. If you are wearing a low cut dress, use an underwire plunge bra. If you are wearing a strapless gown, use an underwire strapless bra. Fuller cup bras do not work for lower cut or backless outfits. Pay attention and enhance your look.

Take good care of your underwire bras and replace them every six months. Bras are not meant to last forever. The wires get bent out of shape. The surrounding material wears out allowing wires to poke through. The elastic wears out. Fortunately, you can help make your bras last longer by just a few simple steps. Wash your bras by hand. Let them air dry on a flat surface. If you must wash them, use a lingerie bag, cold water, and non harsh chemicals. If you insist on a dryer, keep it at a low temperature. Plus, use a small load of laundry.

Underwire bras, like any bras, are not equal. Make sure to get fitted. Check to see if they encompass your breasts and lay flat against your chest without spillage. Pay attention to the wires. Make sure they are flexible with plastic coding. Know your size and move around when trying on a bra. Remember a bra is meant to enhance your outfit. Buy a variety of styles. Finally, take good care of your lingerie. Hand wash and dry. Underwire bras are you friend. They enhance, uplift, and support you. When it comes to support and fashion, underwire bras are the best on the market.

If the Bra Don't Fit, You Must Quit - The Brand

Splurge shopping might be a bit off limits these days given the state of the economy, but you still have to buy certain garments. Bras certainly qualify. Oddly, not all bra brands provided sizes for all women.

You realize one day that your comfortable bras are wearing out. You head over to the mall for a few hours to browse through the selections. You find a beautiful balcony bra. You find a great strapless number as well. There's only one problem - you can't find your size. You ask the clerk and find out that the brand doesn't even make bras in your size!

Surprisingly, this is a very common problem. For whatever reason, some brands just provide bras in a relatively small sizing range. Sometimes the limitation is in the band size. Other times, they'll limit the range of cup sizes available. It is maddening, particularly if you don't fit in the "average" range, to wit, if you have a plus size bra size.

Plus size bras tend to be a fairly specific niche for bra brands. To be honest, many well know brands simply don't produce plus size bras for us women with larger breasts. This can be incredibly frustrating when shopping, particularly when you find a bra you love. One way to avoid the problem is to stick to brands that definitely cater to the plus size figure. Such brands include Le Mystere, Goddess, Freya, Panache, Fantasie of England, Chantelle and, of course, Enell for sports bras.

When it comes to bras, pricing comes a close second to fit when ranking the issues you have to consider. Oddly, plus size bras are generally priced the same as bras for "average" breast size women. One would think the niche would carry higher prices, but it simply isn't true these days.

I've always found it very odd that certain brands don't carry a full set of sizes. If you are going to go through the process of launching a brand and marketing it, an expensive affair by any measure, why would you limit your audience? To each their own, I guess. As far as you and I are concerned, try to find the best brands for your breast size and stick with them. Remember, if the bra don't fit, you must quit...the brand!

The Perfect Bra

The perfect bra doesn't cost $75 dollars a pop nor is it made with velvet and fine French lace. But the perfect bra supports and holds your girls up. Trust me I've coveted those perfect $100 bras for years and settled for the first bra that I could find at Target before my daughter could start whining. But now after 2 kids and 13 months of nursing for each child, my girls are not so "perky" any more,. They are exhausted and need a little lift! So I can't afford to settle anymore, my 26 year-old girls look a little older.

That's why I started doing a little research on finding the right Bra Size.

While it would be best to have a professional measure you, it's easily done at home as well.

First measure around your ribcage with a seamstress' measuring tape, just below your girls.

Add 5 to this number to get your bra size.

Now measure around the fullest part of your bosom for the measurement of the cup size.

To calculate subtract your band size from your cup size and refer to the size chart below

Second measurement is

1" larger than measurement 1--------------------A
2" larger than measurement 1--------------------B
3" larger than measurement 1--------------------C
4" larger than measurement 1--------------------D
5" larger than measurement 1--------------------E
6" larger than measurement 1--------------------F

You may find that you actually fit into a bra-size that doesn't "settle" with you on paper BUT go to the store, try one on, slip on a sexy shirt and notice the difference. Your girls don't sag, they are supported and inadvertently your posture is corrected, you will be more confident and your ladies more shapely, close and NOTICEABLE.

TIP: Get a professional to measure your size, or you measure and try the size and brand on at the store. Then look online for those brands and at a DISCOUNT.

Trust me, your girls, back, AND partner will thank you!

Not that he doesn't think you are attractive now. Most couples that are not having sex still love each other very deeply. These couples still think their spouse is attractive. Your cotton panties are comfortable. But your cotton panties do not stand out. They do not grab your husbands attention like satin panties will. The soft touch of satin alone will turn him on if you brush up against him.

There is just something just so sexy about satin. Of all the types of panties there is none more sex appealing. Elle Macpherson Intimates makes some great panties for you to try. There is also Victoria's Secret. Shop around a see whats out there. You know what your husband likes. Buy it, wear it in front of him, and you will have his attention. Tease him a little bit.

Your body has not changed. But if you change panties you have no idea how different they can make you look. Panties give woman a different persona you might can say. They emit different feelings. Satin Panties Are the Way to Go

Many woman think that though satin panties look attractive they are extremely uncomfortable. They like the look of them but feel the pros of satin panties are far exceeded by the cons.

Its absolutely not so. Like many items you can buy you get what you pay for. If you want to buy the cheapest panties that you can find then they are going to feel more ridged and like cardboard.

If you buy quality satin panties they feel great and usually leave not visible panty lines that most woman try to avoid.

If you are trying to spice things up with your partner or want to feel more confident and sexy then you should definitely try them. Just having them on will give you a boost of confidence.

Purchase a pair of white satin panties and watch your husband or boyfriend's face light up. It will be as though you bought him an early Christmas present. He will forget about the game he was watching or thinking about watching. It can wait. He will be thinking about what you are wearing.

White and black ones are usually the most common. They both are sexy yet will imply different things. White satin panties are a little more feminine while black satin panties usually convey a more dominate, less graceful, yet equally sexy look to them.

Victoria's Secret has a vast array of beautiful panties that you can buy. I recommend going to their website and seeing what they have available. But in all reality you will be paying more for the name. Most of the major department stores in almost every city in America will have a section for you to buy satin panties.

You can always go back to the cotton panties. Give the satin material a try. One note of caution. While not uncomfortable the material satin panties are made from do not allow a lot of breathing room for your skin. Its nice to take a break from satin panties every several days to allow your skin to breath. That is the only con I can see in them.

Women's Thongs - Erotic and Beautiful

Thongs in women are specifically defined as an undergarment, characterized by a thin strap of material along the center of the garment's rear designed to sit between the wearer's buttocks. Women's thongs are further classified on the basis of type and form including g-strings, the traditional thong, v-strings and the t-back. Women's thongs are a delightful sight also on the beaches of South European countries, Florida and South America. Women, generally prefer to wear thong underwear to eliminate the visibility of the panty lines, to avoid an embarrassing scenario of a ride up so one need not pull at one's underwear in public and most importantly, the factor of comfort. Moreover, the entire concept of fashion consciousness and minimization of tan lines drive women to dress their lower inner half in women's thongs.

Women have the leeway to pick their choice right from elegant thong styles that seem just perfect for the special evening or to simply impress the hot hunk you've bumped at work to sexy, sensuous and erotic thongs designed for fun and flirty moments mixed with tease. For the purpose of comfort and convenience, the women's casual thongs would be a safe bet that would also perfectly complement to her favorite fit of jeans.

Whether for form or function, thongs are a popular mainstay of many women's lingerie drawer. Once the domain of sexy, exotic dancers, skimpy panties are now the lingerie of choice for everyone from teens to mature women. Very often, people though in jest, refer to women's thongs as "butt floss". Riding high on the hips and leaving the bottom completely exposed, women's thongs though may seem tacky have garnered substantial popularity in the last few decades. For women who have never worn thongs, they can be a little uncomfortable initially and/or a sleazy choice of an undergarment, however there are some logically practical reasons to wear these itty-bitty women's thongs.

They pose as a sexy alternative to teddies and are an extra addition to sheer nighties. When paired with decorative bras, they make a pretty and scintillating lingerie set. More over, they make a bold fashion statement underneath low rise jeans for the young and adventurous. Men also love to fantasize seeing their women in revealing, skimpy woman's thongs and panties. Bottom baring lingerie or women's thongs have an A-list of types and styles to their credit. When people refer to "butt floss", they are picturing a g-string.

This barely there panty for the bravest and most confident souls features a more than a little triangle in the front, fitted with a thin string around the hips and between the cheeks of the butt. If you want more coverage than what is offered by a g-string, women can opt for T-back thongs. The side straps conveniently stretch straight across the top of the buttocks; from back the straps resemble the letter 'T'. The Rio women's thongs are quite similar to T-back except that the side straps rise above the hips.

Tanga, another popular thong for women, exposes the bottom of the butt cheeks, but covers everything else. Rios and tangas are a hot favorite among young women as they are more comfortable for regular use. On the contrary, g-strings are not as practical for an all-day use. If you are concerned about your panty line showing, then T-backs can work wonders and take your confidence to new heights. For the first time buyers and users, tangas and Rios offer a welcoming and gentle initiation into the world of sexy women's thongs. For women with generous hips, Rios poses as more forgiving.

Women's thongs are available in an extensive assortment of materials and the styles you decide to purchase are largely a matter of preference. Cotton is an apt choice of material for all day use thongs as it is a breathable fabric and lessens the risk of infection. For special and intimate moments, silk and Lycra is a sensuous choice. PVC or leather are also raging possibilities for a daring night time look. The choices are vast and the collection ranges from elegant to casual to sexy. Pick your choice and put your fancies into action.

When Was the Last Time You Checked Your Bra Size?

When was the last time you checked your bra size? Most women would say some time in their 20s! If only it were so easy! The truth is your body changes throughout your life, which means you need to reconsider your bra size.

Let's consider some basic anatomical things we all deal with as women. As you've matured, what has happened to your body? Are your thighs toned like when you were 22? Mine aren't and neither are most women's. [Sigh]. The same goes for the 'junk in the trunk" look, wrinkles and...well, why get depressed. The point is your body changes over time. Your upper body and breasts are no different.

As you age, your upper body will tend to grow thicker. You know - muffin tops and back fat. As we naturally thicken up a bit, we need to consider whether the bras we have still really fit. The band size may be too small. Indications of this would be getting poked in the inside or your arm when wearing underwire bras. This happens because the bra is too tight and the outer edge is being pulled. As it is pulled, the underwires tend to bend out which makes the points into little spears. If you are experiencing this, going up a band size can make a world of difference.

Unfortunately, the band size isn't the only issue we face. As we all know, the girls don't remain so perky as time passes. They naturally change shape each month as go through menstruation, but the passage of time ultimately introduced gravity to the body. This puts wear and tear on the Cooper's ligaments which hold the girls up. As the ligaments stretch, our breasts will hang lower and will actually change shape a bit. When this happens, the bra you wore in your twenties simply isn't going to cut it.

As the girls change, you need to consider the cup size and design of bras. You may want to switch to a balcony bra or some other bra that provides more support around the bottom of the cup. As to the cup size, consider how the girls fit in the cup. If there is extra space, the cup size is too big. If you are spilling over, the cup size is too small. Getting the right cup size will eliminate discomfort.

I'll admit it. I'll get into a routine and not really pay attention to the elements of that routine. Millions of women are wearing the wrong bra size because they do the same thing in their routines. This can lead to breast discomfort, shoulder pain, headaches, neck pain and poking. Take 10 minutes out of your day, put the bra you wear the most on and check to see if it really fits or not.

Evolution of Trends The Salong De Lingerie Paris 2009

The Salon de Lingerie in Paris is the first exhibition showing the collections for autumn/winter 2009. Taking place in the massive Porte des Versaille conference centre it attracts exhibitors and buyers from across the globe. This January saw a more subdued event with fewer exhibitors and buyers making the trip. Despite the lower turn out the mood was optimistic and the collections more focussed than in previous years. Jos Berry from Concepts Paris identified the 6 key trends for the season:

  1. Real Corsetry

  2. Funky Couture

  3. Flowers with a difference

  4. Romantic Naturals

  5. La Belle Epoque

  6. Geometric

• Real corsetry Structured and seamed pieces were prevalent for the autumn/winter 09. Satin and retro constructions were seen in the Der Kommisar and Sonia Rykel collections. There is more and more coverage over the torso with an increase in teddies and bodies. Jolidon combines the all in one style with seductive fabrics and the traditional colours of black and red. Suspender belts have followed this trend by becoming wider and more cinch-like in design.

The trend of real corsetry reflects the importance of tradition and heritage in lingerie while the new technology has made the designs more practical to wear in busy modern day life.

• Funky Couture Lace is major trend with guipure embroidery in combination with satin, targeted at younger women. Made by Niki is a perfect example of the use of traditional look and fit with modern colour combination. Marjolaine also reflects this in their silk nightwear combining lime green and cerise pink.

This funky new design has also spread to maternity wear, companies such as Hot Milk! and Agnes et Ses Princes use trimmings and bold printed fabrics to ensure femininity in these function pieces.

• Flowers with a difference Flowers are an enduring staple in lingerie design. English roses were used beautifully by Odille and Karen Millen, printed on satin with contrasting ribbons, bows or ruffles. Printed lingerie used organic floral development with soft colour contrasts, grey being used heavily in lavender and smoky tones.

• Romantic naturals Companies such as Calida and Hanro have moved back to their roots using natural cotton in their collections. The subdued colours available in cottons give a soft romantic palette with soft greys and beiges. Designers have taken classic designs and used handkerchief weaves and chunky lace detailing to give a contemporary edge.

Streetwear has been a notable influence using layering and adding knitted sweaters and garments have been re-proportioned to be more risqué while utilising old fashioned pointelle knits.

There has been an increased use of organic and biodegrable cottons but not at the expense of femininity. An extension of the use of cotton has been the spread of the preppy American college look epitomised by Venus et Jules.

• La Belle Epoque La Belle Epoque celebrates the eccentricity at this seasons show. The rich opulent colours combined with the seductive silky textures evoke an Art Nouveau drawing room. There has also been a strong influence of Liberty prints further adding to the richness of the collections. Improvements in technology allow designers to break the rules and move away from the traditional structure of pieces. Valery produced a beautiful collection incorporating a 2 way stretch taffeta in opulent colours.

• Geometric Geometric prints and design have made a steady impact over the past few year but they finally appear to be coming into their own. The innovative designs from Marlies Dekkers are clearly influencing the mainstream lingerie. Straps that cross at the back and additional straps across the décolletage and around the neck add sexiness through strong definite lines.

The improvement in the quality of printing geometric patterns has helped increase the popularity. The deep inky colours of the season benefit from the clear lines in the graphic designs.

Each year the Salon de Lingerie provides the focus of the next seasons lingerie trends and with the continuing innovation in fabrics and designs it will remain the most important event for the industry year after year.

Men Love Traditional Sexy Lingerie

You don't need to necessarily wear the black leather dominatrix suit with stiletto boots. For many people, traditional lingerie is sexy lingerie! Obviously you will have to toss the granny panties but you can turn old fashioned into hot.

Can Traditional Lingerie Be Sexy Lingerie?

Take the sexy silk lingerie look, for example. No matter the color, silk dances exotically on a woman's body. Ruby red silk with black lace is particularly popular and sensual, especially when there's a plunged neck. In general, lace is attractive, alluring, and sexy for any man. On top of the attractive physical appeal, lace feels good to the touch. Lace is probably the most traditional and popular material for lingerie.

Lace continues to be popular even after centuries because of the way that it flows on the curves of the female body. You can find lace lingerie that covers body parts or some that is see-through but even the transparent pieces are tasteful. Any color lace can be sexy whether it is black, white, red, pink, or green. Plus, matching lace bras with lace panties equals sexy lingerie!

Any lingerie can be sexy, it is not what it is but how you present it. Consider pin-up women, for instance, they are some of the sexiest women alive. They wore old fashioned lingerie, similar to granny panties but much more sexual. The tops that they wore were generally old fashioned, pointy-looking bras. With a shirt on, this looks silly, however, when it is alone, it is sexy. There is nothing sexier to a man than a pin-up woman.

Another traditional but sexy lingerie look is a corset with panties and a garter clip that attaches to knee-high tights. Most of the time these outfits are dark like a deep red or purple and worn with high heels. Does this remind you of a burlesque dancer? If so that is good because that's the idea. Burlesque dancers are very intimate and sexy, they show just enough, like a tease. This is great particularly for foreplay because it takes the idea of strong and sexy woman and puts it right in your bedroom.

Why Men Love Traditional Sexy Lingerie

Men are very simple creatures and there's no better way to show them that you're in the mood than by showing off your body for them. It is very arousing to have a woman lying in the bed in some sexy lingerie and sometimes it is the more old fashioned look that works the best.

Everyone Needs Hot Lingerie in Their Lives!

Lingerie is a French term that is defined as women's intimate apparel. When someone hears the word lingerie, it depicts a sexy feminine image. Some people don't like to spend money on lingerie because it is not "comfortable" or it is too expensive. But nobody said it was cheap OR easy to be sexy!

Why Hot Lingerie is Important

Nowadays, companies are coming out with the most beautiful and eccentric lingerie that we have ever seen. Some people are using these new designs to their advantage but others still have the same old boring opinion on it. What many women do not understand is that there are reasons why they need to have hot lingerie.

How Often Are You Really Washing Your Bras?

Ask any woman how often she washes her bras and you'll probably be told it is none of your business! If pushed, she'll undoubtedly say she does it after every wearing. As we all know, that isn't exactly the truth.

How often are you really washing your bras? It is the rare woman that does it after every wearing. Why? Well, it has to do with the cleaning process. A bra should be hand washed and then hung up on a line to dry. That requires a lot more effort than just throwing it in the washer and dryer.

Most women wash their bras intermittently. We all have a rotation of bras. You might have anywhere from three to six that you just wear one after the other. When time permits or your think the bras are duty, you'll take the time to wash them. Yes, it sounds a bit nasty, but that's the way we all seem to work if we are honest.

And what about those women who wash them every time they wear them? The vast majority of you [it certainly doesn't include me!] are throwing them in the washer and dryer. To each their own, but bras cleaned in this manner tend to fall apart. You can go through tens of thousands of excess dollars in bras over your lifetime if you keep taking this approach.

So, how often should you wash a bra? As a general rule, you should wash it after every second wearing. Now there are obvious exceptions to this rule. If you just finished running five miles, you really need to wash that sports bra before wearing it again. If you wear a particular bra only every so often, that should probably be washed after each wearing as well.

There are some definite steps you want to take to make your bra last as well. Hand washing is a must. Bras are called "delicates" for a reason. Washers and dryers will leave them out of shape and in tatters. Make sure to use an undergarment detergent, which tends to be less harsh that chemical clothing detergents. Finally, let your bras air dry. The heat in a dryer is devastating to the plastic areas of your bra.

Bras are one of the fundamental parts of any wardrobe. Take care of them and they will last for a surprisingly long time. While washing frequency is important, it is really how you wash them that will make all the difference.

Women's Bras - Yesterday, Today and Beyond

Bras have been around for thousands of years, but were not widely known until the Edwardian period. These bras did not look like the bras we know today. They were very utilitarian in design and had many straps and cinches to improve ones form.

Bras began to become main stream when Mary Phelps-Jacob patented her design in 1914. The prototype was actually made of two silk handkerchiefs and some baby ribbon. As in many cases Mrs. Phelps -Jacob was not able to make a business out of her prototype and sold the patent rights for $1500. The company that bought that patent made millions of dollars selling bras.

Women's breasts were now sized by inches and the industry exploded. In today's world the bra takes many forms and styles. Some are utilitarian like the first bras, but still look and wear like clothing. Many contemporary bras are now lingerie and are meant to be seen without outerwear. Shapers, under wire, minimizer, enhancer and many more styles are available to help women get their desired look.

Sports bras are an entire industry now. From a young age women use sports bras to help them compete and look good while doing a wide variety of activities. These types of bras became hugely popular when Brandy Chastain of the women's US national soccer team, ripped her shirt off and showed her sports bra to a cheering world when they won the championship.

Seeing models and sports figures in bras on the covers of magazines and billboards is commonplace now. We have become a society that sees undergarments as a fashion statement.
